Hello all,
I have been trying to locate a source for pile weather stripping. I need to replace the it on my current windows. Tried the big orange box, Lowes and several screen/door places with no luck.
The windows are only 7 years old but the sun has destroyed the bond between the pile and the nylon substrate.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if these folks have the weatherstripping, but since they're a replacement window hardware co. they should be able to point you in the right direction. [email protected] Email them at that address. Have the window manufacturer name (could contact them too, might be on warrantee) in the email.

I've been having trouble finding it locally. I probably need to head for the city.
A company called PEMKO has every kind of weather stripping imaginable. They'll send you a hugh catalogue AND a CD with all the pricing. Great find. Can't remember the URL but a Google will find it immediately.
