Does there exist a pink(owens-corning) sound deadening batt that is the same color as their regular insulating batt. If so – how do you tell them aparrt if you don’t see the packages come on site?

What would be the difference?
Density of the fibers
Which is the same difference between high-density and regular density FG.
By leaving your comments vague, I guess you're trying to teach me something. All I know is the regular fg when set next to some sound batting I purchased from another company besides owens corning shows a world of difference. So I'm sorry if I don't follow what you're trying to get at.
The difference is in the density. Which you can tell by how dense it is.
You'd have to be pretty dense not to know that.
Yes, OC makes Sound Attenuation Batts that are pink, unfaced and much denser than the batts used for regular insulation. I've used them in the walls and ceilings of several conference rooms.
Thank you so much for answering the question. I didn't think it was that subjective so as to warrent some of the responces that were posted. My basis for the question was that the contractor that installed the 'pink' batts in the walls that were supposed to be insulated for sound, installed what looks like your basic R11/ R13. The difference I was referring to was their effectiveness in dampening the sound.
Thanks again!
