I am trying to help my husband clean up his truck. Does anyone have an idea or a product they use to keep house plans organized on the go?

It's a crew cab with two carseats in the back - any other ideas?
Dashboard.
Just kidding. Sounds like it's too crowded already. One thing maybe is to cut off some p.v.c. to length and put caps on the ends, then put them in the tool box. At least it will keep them from getting mutilated.Who Dares Wins.
Suggest he get them plastic laminated, or use the clear plastic sleeves, and leave them on the jobsites where they belong.
Just burn em in the fireplace, he won't REALLY need them.

Get a couple of pieces of 6" pvc pipe, tie them together with duct tape and lay them on the floor under the kiddies feet. That way the plans can be accessed when the back door is open, and the plans won't get damaged by spilled koolaid.
But wait ... does he want your help? How would you like it if he decided to help you organize your kitchen? Maybe he already has a storage system ...

There was an exhibitor at the JLC Live show in Portland who was showing a plan rack for the office and a carry case that rolled them into thirds. The office rack was one of the neatest products I saw there.

There are plastic tubes available from office supply stores that are specifically for storing plans, here's one example I found online: http://www.draftingsteals.com/catalog-portfolios--expanding-wallets--mailing-materials-for-drawings.html
You can do the same thing with cardboard mailing tubes, or pieces of PVC pipe with a couple end caps.
I like to fold 'em up and stick 'em in my canvas briefcase for two reasons.
I like to try to do it at the archy's office.............it annoys the crap out of some of 'em to watch you fold it up. and, it fits in my briefcase or in a folder where it belongs.
I feel like a sea captain or a pirate tryin to read them things after they been all rolled up!!

Thanks so much for your suggestions. I will pass them along to my husband.
And yes, Ed, he did ask for my help on this one.
