Whats the weight on that tv?
I recently put one(plasma tv) in that used the factory made mounting bracket, they arnt all that cheep so I assume thats why you designed your own.
Nice cabinet though.

I just built a cabinet for a customer, and his 55" weighed 130 pounds.Don't call me daughter.
I did look for a factory bracket, but could not find one that would do what we needed. I did a temp. setup to test for weight and I hung 200lbs on it with out problem. I have checked it since and nothing has moved. It works!
That TV weights about 100lb.

Yea, until you try to pick one of them things up you'd never believe they weigh what they do.

That's awesome! I don't see how you hid the wires, though. How soon before you think you'll be able to afford some furniture to sit on while you watch TV? :-)
Look at the bottom of the lower hinge for the wires, then the wires are hidden in the wall behind the maple panel, accessed via the white panel.
Its not mine cause the check cleared!!!
