   figured bosshog had sold the farm and deadnuts finally gave up on engineering and the UK cabinetmakers finally figured out we weren't buying. Cannot believe fine homebuilding let this fall apart. I have learned a lot over the years

   Dan

   Currently when hitting recent posts, I see only 3 threads.  I figure it has to do with the now limited number of pages shown.  Before there was 1-3 pages and a "next " option for bringing up more.  Also a "last" option which too you to the alleged very last page of threads.

   what do you see now?

   edit:  same goes for the recent replies, there's no history left, just the last few replies.

   I gather that "recent" only goes back 1 week, by design.  I watched the older threads dissappear over several days, while things were effed up.

   Yeah, if you hit "Home" and

   Yeah, if you hit "Home" and then "General Discussion" you see lots of stuff.  It's not gone.

   This has been my 'go to' site for years but recently there seems to be only a small number of folks to answer questions.  I subscribe to the magazine and they keep mentioning the improved Forum web site.  Is it Face Book?

   I'm going to do nothing about the spam etc so these tech folks can see (if they look) what crap lurks around the site.  Maybe if they find a dozen ads for whatever posted or some equally goofy poor English run on sentences about nothing......they will take care of it.

   facebook is a threat all sites face and you may in fact find that happen here.  If it does, been nice knowing you.
