I have a Hewlett Packard DesignJet 450c large format plotter. It handles paper 2′ wide, so it can do “D” size blueprints. It also works as a regular windows printer, so you can print HUGE photos of the kids, or signs for yard sales, etc.
Bought new in 1999, when I had a design service, which I no longer do. Wife wants me to get rid of the thing because it’s taking up space. It’s in perfect shape, with extremely low mileage.
No stand or paper feeder, but I do have all the original docs, cables, etc.
I don’t know what a good price is yet. Still doing some research on that, but make me a reasonable offer and we’ll talk.
Thanks.

A friend of John Lazarro's just sold me an HP 220. He asked $300 for it.
Yours is a bit newer I think, so it might be worth a bit more.
I have friends up around Mundeline, so I would have enjoyed the trip up to get your plaotter had I bought it instead.
I'm interested in a 36" plotter, so I've been watching over here,

You might get pricing ideas from there.
Pete,
Have you sold the plotter yet?

No, I still have it.

Have you decided how much you want for it yet? That might stir up some interest. And have you tried posting about it over at JLC?
Sarcasm is just one more service that I offer.
I've seen a variety of prices, like you said.
For $400, I'll keep it.
for $800, I'll consider selling it. Very low mileage on the thing.
I made a nice bookcase for it that doubles as a stand. More sturdy than the stands they sell for them, plus there's the storage. Might kick that in if the price is right.Pete Duffy, Handyman
If you go to eBay and do a search of completed auctions, it looks like that model sells in the $400-800 range. But most (not all) of those have stands.

I had a pen plotter, E size that I could not unload. I finally gave it to my brother. The rat donated it to the local trade school and got a $3500 tax deduction.
