Dry dull reading, often too much commercial stuff, some decent line drawings, and lots of insight into what the plumbing inspector does not want to see!
Your state dept of public health's plumbing code book----order one today.
Enjoy the red tape...............

*Taunton's "Code Check - Plumbing" has all the really important stuff in a format that's quick and easy to use.-- J.S.
*Tough to beat Peter Hemp's two books (the other is "Finish Plumbing" or something like that). I really like "The Septic System Owner's Manual" by Lloyd Kahn et al. Shleter Publications. Readable by homeowners, but most all plumbers and engineers would learn a lot also. -David
*I've searched as well and could not find any better than Peter Hemp's. I refer back to his book whenever I have an uncertainty on how to plumb something.
