I am into yet another renovation of an old house and am dealing with moving and redoing a DWV line to a kitchen sink. All is well, except I’m not getting good advice on what type of mechanical (glue) connection needs to be made between ABS and new PVC. The line is 2 in. and the connection will be simply a sleeve. Any help out there???
Thanks in advance. PaddyO

I am making some new trivets for my collection of cinnamon toothpicks. I am going to use drywall screws to assemble them into dodeckahedrons, and also to attach the 'dodes' to the wall. I intend to cut plugs to cover the screw heads with.
I need to know, should I use construction glue to hold the plugs in, or will just plain old elmers do ? Also, should I use tung oil on the 'back' side of the plugs ?
*I understand Lukas humor and I wish I would have thought of it first. But for (fill in the blank) sake does anyone read the folder title before they come crashing in here? I see a new subject started, I say to myself cool pictures, and bam it's a glue question. It's wearing me out.
*paddy, Perfect question for the "construction techniques" folder. JonP.S. Luka- You collect cinnamon toothpicks??? ME TOO! Wow, what a small world.
