I need to re-plumb my house since I have experienced 9 pin hole leaks in my copper piping. House is 10 years old and I had all the water tests done. I am considering using aquapex manufactured by Wirsbo. Has anybody had any problems using aquapex. If so I would like to know what problems you encountered and what corrective action was required. Thanks in advance.

Post over at Breaktime - I am trying to remember the exact reason, but the pinhole leaks may be a product of your waterheater.
My plumbers are using it almost exclusively now. Even quick add-ons and alterations they are changing to "Pex". It is especially good in possible freeze locations"crawls spaces and seasonal cabins". There they sometimes put a smaller fluid line inside a larger static air filled line as a sleeve which is open on the ends allowing some warm air flow , It is working great.
Interesting, I'm in the process of replumbing my house with copper. While doing this the city built a new water tower and had a reverse osmosis system installed at the water plant. I had heard that the reverse osmosis system can be hard on copper pipe or more so the joints. I understand that the process removes all the minerals from the joints and develops leaks. I understand that the water treatment plant adds minerals after the process to help with this. My plumbing project went on hold to see what develops around town with copper pipe.
