We’re installing a vented skylight and there is a plumbing vent about 4′ away. How far from skylight opening should we move the vent? Thanks.

Hey Wet Head Warrior,
I have a simular question about venting a bathroom, well actually two bathrooms. I have a large master bath 14'x9.5' and and a smaller bath 6'x9.5'. They will be some 15-20' from a gable wall. What is the best way to vent both? Go through the roof with one vent for both or could I try to vent through the soffet?
Thanks Turtleboy
are you talking "fart fan" vent or plumbing vent?
