If that is the case, what, typically, are you seeing as a discount from list on faucets, bathtubs, toilets, sinks, etc.?

why would you expect a discount from list?
do you think all plumbers use the Proof system?
IIRC my FIL, passsed on plumber, received a 10 or 20% discount from the supply house.

So are you saying that you know of a case where a plumber was selling, as part of his furnish-and-install package, plumbingware at discounts of between 10 and 20 percent?
No, I'm saying he received a discount between 10-20& from the supply house.

I buy my material through a plumbing supply house and typical discount is 20-30% from suggested retail. I usually mark it up 40% though. DanT
