Bidding a remodel on a “California Modern” house with low slope roof. 2×8 t&g over 4×12 exposed beams. No insulation. I’m getting roof bids for poyeurethane foam sparayed as part of a roofing system. Anyone know annyting about these? Do they hold up? How much insulation do you get from them??

Do not know much about spray on roofing, but how about 3" or 4" polyisocyanite foam screwed to the decking and then apply whatever roof you choose. 4" is about $150 a square and is readily available at most roofing supply places. Rvalue of 25 or 28 on the 4", R 18.6 on the 3".
