While it would appear that we may have, in some people’s opinion, exceeded the reasonable limits of healthy interest and good taste in the great fiberglass versus cellulose debate, there has been little mention of polyicynene in these hallowed halls. What of it?
Anybody used it? Does it work well? Does it eliminate the need for a vapor barrier, I mean retarder . . . I think (I hope). Easy to install on new construction? Retrofit? Fire safe? Last a long time? Cause your house plants to mutate? Expensive? Environmentally responsible? Care to weigh in on this one, Freddy?
Gosh, gang, I feel just like the old days, y’know, right before you start a really good barfight.
Apropos of the “FHB Conspiracy” thread, deep thanks to all for this impromptu graduate seminar in building science with a sense of humor. I don’t know where else I’ve learned so much and laughed so hard at the same time.
