I recently purchased a Portico Kit for the first time. The site is, www.porticokit.com. I have been a carpenter for 35 years and I have been contracted to to quite a few of these front door roof enclosures over the years. They add a particular charm to the front of a house and increase curb appeal. It is not hard to spend a lot of cash quickly when trying to construct a more elaborate roof structure atop of your front door. I have noticed many Porticos on homes in my area and found the majority of them to be out of proportion and not very attractive, only practical in the sense that it keeps you dry when standing underneath it. So I have found this kit to be easy to use and attractive, built out of composite materials, and all the design work is taken out of the equation. I hope to use this kit again in the future.
