Does anyone know where I can buy the tip that was discussed in the new issue of Finehomebuilding for the Bostich gun? We’ve had that gun for a year+ and I’ve been waiting to buy the positive placement tip for it, but I can’t find it.

Can you call paslode? I picked one up for mine at my local tool repair place for I think 13 or 15 buck, they stock them and told me they always sell them.
This is a tip for the Bostich gun. We have the Paslode and the tip for that is in good shape, but we are going to be splitting into 2 crews, so it's good to have 2 positive placement guns.
I just bought that gun at the JLC convention. The people I bought the gun from also claimed to sell the tip; somebody with an older gun (clipped head version) wanted the tip. If yours is a clipped head nailer, you'll also need to buy a new part for your magazine. I didn't get all the details.
