Hey guys,
I’m working on developing the list of questions you pose to a prosepctive client when discussing their new home or large addition. All the nitty-gritty things like the “finish on the bathroom ceiling” or “the porch ceiling finish”, etc. I think you guys know what I’m talking about. All those items that sometimes get overlooked yet can bite you later and hurt if they’re costly enough.
Has anyone created such a list or are there prewritten docs to purchase somewhere to keep us from re-inviting the wheel?
Thanks, as always.
Mike

Mike, a couple of months ago JLC (jlconline.com) had a writeup of some contractor who made a superdetailed item list like what you're talking about...you might check there and see if they have it online.
I know my top two questions (and the first ones I asked) when I was building additions was 1) Do you have plans?, and 2) Do have at least X amount of dollars available?
It's not pretty, but it's upfront and didn't waste my time with tirekickers or price shoppers.

Thanks for the reference, Jason...
And I know what you mean...
