Anybody out there have any experience with pre painted Hardi board ? I was wondering about nicks , scratches , caulked joints ,and so on. Wouldn’t there still need to be alot of touch up ? The price increases from 4.99 to 8.54 but comes with some kind of 15 year warranty. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It can work for you, but you need to be careful. A lot of builders buy the one-coat product and skin it with a finish coat once up.
OSI makes color-matched caulk (Pro Series Quad) in all of the James Hardie Color Plus colors. I can say from experience that the caulk is an exact color match.

I've installed two houses with prefinish and never had any problems, just got to be careful, but you have to be careful with the stuff that comes with no finish. Mine came with a strip of plastic between pieces.
It works fine. Just work careful is all. I did 2 houses this last winter and spring with the stuff. And yes, as mentioned OSI makes the matching caulk and it looks great.
