Pricing or Contractor for Glass wall?

We fell in love with the idea of a glass wall on the house but are trying to get a ball park estimate somewhere so we could budget the house correctly. So far sadly a lot of the contractors we’ve talked to seem to have no idea.

A glass wall requires that careful attention be given to loads above the glass. These loads need to be telescoped to structural materials that bear of foundation walls. A glass specialist may be able to render a computer model. Otherwise, see a structural engineer. This is not work for the average builder.
Any professional glass company can give you a price in hours or days.
This will be a 2 step process. The first thing is you will need to frame the wall like a garage door opening or similar then find a glass guy to install a window in the hole. If this needs to be wind code and impact, expect a huge bill from the glass man.
