What’s the going rate per square for applying white cedar shingles in your neck of the woods?
I talked to a sales rep for Maibec who said he knows siders on Cape Cod who were getting $150 / sq. ; In parts of Maine $200 / sq. and on the coast of New Jersey some guys were getting $400 / sq.
How do your prices compare and where are you located?
I’m just curious, thanks.

200/sq can get you done on the first floor level if you don't weave the corners

In NW Indiana, I have bids coming in at about $400/sq. for a new home project - labor only.
I'm moving to IN and set up shop! I can usually apply 2 1/2 sq/day at 5" exposure.
You haven't mentioned whether this is siding or roofing

That was for sidewall shingles. For the area, it seems really high to me, but I'm building there - moving from out of the area, so I don't have a good sense for pricing.
I'd hate to shingle sidewalls for any less.
