I have a basic question, I am priming new drywall and need to know what goes on first, or if it matters. The intent is to prime the drywall then spray texture and prime again. Do I paint PVA primer on first or does the vapor barrier paint go on first? Do I need the vapor barrier paint at all? Can the PVA go on first and then the vapor over the texture?
Forgive me for my ignorance on this subject but…..
Thanks in advance

What do the folks at your paint store say?
We had a thread on that just last week. Look at http://forums.taunton.com/tp-breaktime/messages/?msg=20238.1
I looked at the other post from earlier but the topic of PVA vs. Vapor was not mentioned, all that was talked about was brands. This is more of the porosity and adhesion thereof.
Thanks again
