What is the purpose of having profiles if you can’t see them. When I try to see the who, what and where about someone who has posted something, I am told that I am not allowed to see the profile.
The forum seems to be more about the knowledge of computer usage and less about the knowledge of the building business.
Every time I log on I go away discouraged, disappointed and totally frustrated.

I am told that I am not allowed to see the profile.
If one of the techs here sees your post I'd be surprised if they didn't tell you that you are mistaken. Seems to be the common answer if you get one.
Thus far I've had no problem in checking someone's profile-i.e. I do get to see it-tho oftentimes it's blank.
There's been a couple times where the reply box has disappeared prohibiting me making a reply to a post or even when sending a private message to a member. I reported it after the fact-they responded they'd check.
Might try that approach...........
I do remember maybe a week ago getting the "you are not permitted to view".......... message. Tried it again and there must have been divine intervention

I can see your profile by clicking on your nickname, and, editing mine, I can't see any way to limit who can view the profile.
If indeed you can't view the profiles of others by clicking on their nicknames, then you should at least go through the motions of complaining to TPTB.
