I needed to send some progress photos to the customer.
I thought I’d let you guys chew them up too. Peer review means as much to me as customer satisfaction.

It's an entertainment center in a playroom.
*It's a food prep center for service to the pool
*This marble was worth waiting for. It took a few months to get from #^%#* and then it took nearly a year to get it machined and installed. You are looking at six pieces but he did a good job of grain matching. It really has good colours but the stone is brittle on this stuff. Lots of resin.
*This room is built into a basement walkout to a pool.Three years ago the space where you see the base of the entertainment unit was ledge sloping off towards your feet in this one.
*piffin: I think that is something to be proud of. I like all aspects of it, the design, function, and finish. Again, very nice.
*With exception of a couple detail refinements, the playroom design work was performed by John Bardsley of NYNY.
*looks pretty wonderful.. what was the reasoning behind the entertainment center NOT going to the ceiling ?....this was obviously a conscious decision on someone's part..... did you do this or a talented employee ?
*It's not to cieling to look like a piece of placed furniture.Note that the cornice piece is diff than the cieling crown. Also, if it went to the cieling the proportions would be off - too tall and narrow looking. It already seems to dominate the room a little too much.Subcontracted for construction to Phil Moody in Lincolnville, Maine. Installed by Mark Catell. I laid out the room, interpreted the drawings, and coordinated all other aspects of the job. Wish I still had time and health to do the actuall work.
*Piffin, nice clean well balanced design. Nice work.
*Very nice work piffin something to be proud of.

*as usual Piffin, excellent work.
*thank you all - I'll try to post finished shots soon.
