Proper Seal for Chimney and Chase

I have a drop in fireplace with a triple wall chimney. The chimney stands up through the roof and there is a chase pan which finishes the chimney proper. The chimney is not ‘sealed’ at all where it comes through the chase and I’m concerned about moisture (rain) running down the chimney into the house. (There is evidence of this in the past.)
What would be best to seal this with?

You need a storm collar to seal the area between the pipe and the chase pan hole flange.
Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. sorry it has taken me so long to get back.
The chimney has a 'storm collar' I guess you'd call it, but I still want to seal the chimney around where it meets the chase. If not moisture, I"m concerned about bugs etc. getting in.
What would I use here?
High temperature silicon sealant is what was recommended to me when I installed a wood stove. I'm not sure that the high temp aspect is really necessary, but why take a chance?
The chimney should not be sealed to the chase cover. The chimney "grows" some when it's heated up and the storm collar provides an expansion joint. Installed correctly, the storm collar should be tight down on the chase cover hole flange when the chimney is cool. DO NOT CAULK THE CHIMNEY TO THE CHASE COVER. . The storm collar can be caulked to the chimney.
