A electrician pal of mine and i were talking, He told me his brother ( who is a ex framer) found out that someone has been using his contractor license number for a while. He didnt know the person or even who the guy was. He called the contractors board but they basically werent real interested and said something to the effect of it happens all the time and were to busy to worry about it. another friend of mine is having a remodel done on his home. he found out that the guy who drew up the contract and the lincense number on it was invalid. However, the person doing the work is licensed( I saw the job he should of taken my advice i know some subs how could of banged it out alot nicer and kept the job site a lot cleaner)
Anyway, How could my Buds protected themselves the guy using his license and the guy, who had the remodel being done by “wam bam construction co”
he should of listened to me, but like the good lord said a profit has no honor in his own town. 😉
