Proximetry of gas and electric outlets

I’m having some work done in my house, and the gas line for the stove needed to be moved to the left by about one foot. It originally came out of the wall about 18″ off the floor, but when the plumber moved it, he placed the valve about 2″ off of the floor. There’s an electric outlet on the other side of the stud about 14″ off of the floor. I’d rather have the gas valve about 6″ off of the floor, but before I ask the plumber to reposition this, is there a minimum distance a gas valve must be from an electric outlet?
Thank you.

I know nothing of a clearance issue between gas and elec.
However, after struggling with the thick cord and position allowed for both it and the gas line (as shaded in the install manual), I have come to realize that there is a vendetta in this whole thing driven by the appliance manufacturers against the lowly carpenter.
If a new range, I urge you to follow their directions and schematics (and 14 inches off the floor for the power sounds way too high.
Best of luck.
Proximetry of gas and electric outlets
Thanks, Calvin. The plumbing inspector stopped by this morning, so I asked him; he said there is no regulation concerning this.
You're welcome
Is this a gas range with just 120 for the electronics?..............or a dual fuel?
Duel fuel, the closer you get to the recommended area the better you'll like it.
Direction of the way the plug lays is also critical-or you'll be limited in how close you can push that range.
best of luck.
Proximetry of gas and electric outlets
It's just a regular KitchenAid gas stove (actually, it has a convection oven), with 120 VAC for the light, fan, etc. Both the electric and plumbing inspectors for the town said there are no regulations regarding the proximetry of these.
You're honestly going to have a plumber move the valve 4"? Why?
