I have a metal gambrel roof building. I want to put a 9′ x3′ window in the side wall. I can probably hack something together to get it in but am wondering if someone has a plan for the flashing, etc. Because its a gambrel, the side wall is at a slope so thats the problem.

The flashing isn't your first problem. How are you going to fit this? It is a fair size. Will you be cutting through rafters? How will you trim out and support structurally? Get some proffesional advice before commencing.
