I may be in the proverbial spot of a rock and a hard place. Laying out a 2″ pvc drain system in a to be enclosed floor. Rather tight surrounds involving already stationary points of a shower, stool and cast iron running from the neighboring kitchen with a vanity that is the only variable except it must be run alongside an 8″ joist space. Anyhow…
If I had an elbow halfway degrees between these two it would solve a lot of problems.
Do they make a special order holygrail like that?
Thanks

Take the radiator hose off yer truck.
No, looks like yer trying to find what isn't. Ya got a 22.5 and a 45. That would be a 33.75 in between. But I THINK I saw a 30 somewhere.

I've used 60's, would maybe assume that they would make the compliment 30..?..
Edit - What about flexible PVC ? Used to use it when I put in some pools. I have no idea what the code implications are with it as far as DWV applications.

We use the flex PVC under pressure in garden pond & waterfall applications, so it should work fine for a drain, but I don't know about how the code treats it. Bear
Your fitting on the left turns 22.5 degrees. Fitting on right turns 45 degrees.
Fittings are readily available (even at some big boxes) which turn 11.25 degrees.
So 22.5 + 11.25 = 33.75 degrees.
Your space is at a premium - the additional length may not be helpful.
Absolutely legal if the assembly will fit in the space available.
Jim
Thanks all. I managed to steal a degree or two turning the shower drain a tad and altered the lengths of some pipe lengths enough to find a fit.
Cheers

Ya got it solved already.
I was gonna add , some times I use electrical pvc conduit and my hot box to make the odd angled shapes needed, it all glues into plumbing fittings just the same.
When your done, paint it white, so as not to confuse the inspector.
White PVC works fine in a hot box (or in the tailpipe of your truck)
I had to make a custom bend for my pool. No problem.
One trick on the tailpipe method. Slip a cold fitting over the end of the pipe while it is still soft to preserve the "round".
You can get different angles if you put those two elbows together and twist them.
One other way is to carve off some of the pipe and the inside of the fitting so you can cock it a bit. Carve it dry with a dremel rotary tool and check often to get a good fit.
Then slather on allot of hot glue to melt it together.
One of the nice things about plastic is that it carves well and the hot glue really can fill gaps and bond it well.
I don't understand why you didn't just cut the fitting on the right, off, at the correct angle.
The plumbing will be enclosed between drywall on plasterlath beneath and a tile floor above which means pretty much inaccessible after the installation.
Just don't want to run the risk of a problem occurring after the fact from something not up to specs.
