I recently purchased some pvc trim molding to put around the wall/ceiling juncture. It is very white. The sales guy didn’t know if it was paintable or not. No biggie if it isn’t, but i’d like it to be a complementary color if possible and would paint it before installing it. I bought the trim at Lowe’s…it was item #2150… if there is anyone out there who works at lowe’s and knows the product. Looks easier to cut and install than wood trim and is said to be moisture resistant. It certainly doesn’t appear to have warpage issues and the room where it will be installed will have some degree of humidity.

I looked and couldn't find it.
Searched moulding-2150 and went through all the trims-didn't find a one called 2150
I tried pvc moulding and got 3 for use with tile.
Got a better description? Is it that lightwt, cell filled plastic moulding from along time ago?
Usually pvc trims can be painted. Look at the azek site for finishing tips http://www.azek.com/installation.html
Best of luck.
We installed about 1000 lf of Azek molding in our enployee entrance hallway last year and had it all painted. So far we have had no problems with it.
I'm not sure about Lowes pvc trim. It seems a little slicker than the Azek, so may need to be scuff sanded lightly to insure good adhesion.
Try Versatex blog
Versatex has a great blog on painting PVC trim. They tell you what to look out for in terms of dark colors and expansion/ contraction.

Just scuff it up a bit with 150-180 first to give it some mechanical "tooth" for the paint to bond with
