I need to make a pyramid cut on the end of a 6×6 cedar post. I’ve never done this and wanted to know if anyone has suggestions for doing this with a circular saw? Thanks!

I would say, make layout marks all the way around the post. Leave the saw at 90°.
Make two cuts on each face. Unless you have a large circular saw, you'll need to finish the cuts with a handsaw.
