Are you selling 4 jacks that you have, or are you a tool seller, or what?
I followed the hyperlink you posted and it looked like an advertisement from a tool dealer. Please tell us you just linked to that page so a potential buyer would know exactly what you have for sale, and not that you are someone expecting to capitalize on Taunton's website and advertise your wares without paying Taunton for that advertising space.
naw you can sell your used stuff on amazon. Click his link and look for the used link under the link for the new pump jacks.
You can buy the used stuff via amazon and its like an escrow service. Amazon pays him and he ships. Kinda like an inhouse paypal for user classifieds. Allows sellers to capture an audience with more accuracy.
Jim,
I'm not entirely sure how kosher this would or would not be to mention it here.
But I think what he is doing is mentioning that HE is selling his used pump jacks, and has them posted on Amazon, which allows people to sell used items.
There are four of them there, if you go to the page, click on the pump jacks at the top, then click on the link that said "5 new and used"
under that, there are 4 with the seller listed as jmarcus007
Or you could just follow this link which should bring you directly to his items

I think it's the same type of thing as e-bay.
Is it allowed for people to mention their e-bay items here?Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, Professionals built the Titanic.
Ya'll got it right - I'm selling 4 used pump jack set-ups, and I'm selling them via Amazon. Is it in fact kosher to post that info here? I'm not sure, now that you mention it. If not, I apologize!
Fine by me, JMARCUS. I just couldn't tell from the link you posted and we've had problems here in the past with enterprising tool sellers. Sorry for my mistake (again).
I can't imagine Taunton objecting to e-bay and Amazon links to your personal stash of stuff for sale. It's not all that different from just listing them here except you have a much broader exposure to potential buyers.
Links to personal or business web sites in your tag lines are along the same lines. I find this type of post very helpful. I can go there or not...Kevin Halliburton

I'm with Wrecked Angle on this. Although I think the Reader Classified intent/preference is to have items listed for sale directly, I don't think Ebay or Amazon used listings are an issue. I think Taunton would have a problem with it only if selling things on Ebay or Amazon were your main business. Most (99.9999% -?) of the people posting here don't have that problem. Of course , I don't speak for Taunton. Mebbe Andy Engel, or Brian (is he the moderator of the month?) can comment.
JMARCUS007, I think in the future you can avoid this confusion by linking directly to your used stuff, as CAG's link tried, or at least stating you're selling used through Amazon. If everything seems to be going well, you've obviously overlooked something.
