Like many areas, I’m seeing more and more PEX plumbing
I saw the manifolds in the attached pictures the other day – Didn’t seem to me they were adequately supported
The one just has one ordinary pipe hanger, the other doesn’t have anything directly supporting igt.
Any comments?

I would be more concerned about the Pex/copper connections leaking because that's what it looks like!
Looks a little flaky to me. I don't know what the mfgr requires, but for the first picture it would be easy to nail a piece of blocking between the joists, and then hang thre manifold in two places.

Bob,
Looks like a hack job. Both the PEX and the flex (notice how the flex duct is partially crushed at the basset support, it will get worse over time), done by a poor installer. I would expect worse in less accessible areas.
