Question regarding basement floors –
I recall reading about an underlayment used on concrete floors (mostly in basements), it was breathable to help reduce moisture problems in regards to adhesives, musty odors etc.
Does anyone know of such a product?

Yes - one option is Dricore. Here is the link to the info: http://www.dricore.com/en/ewhat.htm
Another is something called Delta-FL (look up http://www.cosella-dorken.com/products/foundation_residential/products/MS.php?navid=10). These go on top of the cement and are in theory supposed to regulate the moisture passing through the slab.
I recently used it but the verdict isn't in yet.
Hey Ribs,
Did you end up sealing the outside edges or leaving the air gap??

Outside edges are open. As close as I could get them to the wall but not sealed completely. For me I thought it was all just precautionary as every test I did (cling film or plastic taped on the slab) showed no moisture coming up through it. As long as I run a dehumidifier to control condensation in my basement it seems to be bone dry.The stuff is a bit tricky when you roll it out there are slight imperfections in how it lays down (due to temp differences during the manufacturing I was told). I called them and they said don't worry when you put a floor on it it will flatten. Found it hard to believe but it seems to have worked out fine.
