I have a bunch of these in the two common jaw sizes, and a few of ’em have lost their pads.
Anybody know where I might be able to find the pads?

Upgrading the footings and columns that support a girder beam is an opportunity to level out the floor above.

Yesterday PM I was hanging a door for a lady while she was doing laundry. She muttered to herself, "I don't know where all the socks go..."I almost quipped, "They are in my toolbox" because of this thread, but caught myself in time.

A GIGANTIC all-day milkbone for you, along with a big slice of blueberry pie!
UMMMMMMMMM.....Thanks and you're welcome....hope you get them....Abby....Abby Who?....Abby Someone.....Actually it's more like: "Not-quite-Norm"......
Just to report that I received replacement pads for my clamps in 2 days!4 pads of each size, mailed to my door, absolutely free of charge.Hats off and kudos to Irwin Industrial Tools.
Just so the new ones should last a bit longer.
I put the pads om my Quick-Clamps backwards. In other words, you've got to sort of stretch them over the business end of the clamp so that if they were to slide off they are sort of prevented from doing so by the bar of the clamp. Does that make any sense?
When I hit the warehouse this morning I'll see if it does indeed make any sense!
Your suggestion most certainly works on the mini clamps and the old style pads on the regular sized clamps. Thanks.
I just looked at a couple of my quick grip clamps. You're right, the old style clamp pads had one end open so they are less likely to slide off if you put them on backwards but the newer pads are closed at both ends so it probably doesn't matter how you put them on.
I replacement pads along with the clamps at most big box stores, but I don't know if they fit the quick clamp. I searched for pads a the amazon.com clamps section and it showed a variety of replacements for various, maybe see what might fit.

I couldn't find anything specifically for quick clamps.

Meet me at House & Builder!
they eloped with mine!
a couple fell in the trash, one is down behind all the boxes of nails in the tool trailer, and the other one is in that customers wall where it fell while you were...and you didn't want to take the wall apart to get it. A couple more are chasing the lost socks in the laundry room and having fun terrorizing the dust bunnies.

The QuickGrips do excel at holding the other end of the board.Ya, I have real stuff, too. K Bodies, handscrews, pipe, a bunch of big Pony I- beams. The I-beams were schwag from a good carpenter buddy- certainly one of the noblest of brotherly deeds!
