We are planning a familyroom/sunporch addtion to our 1915 Foursquare and are thinking radiant floor heating would be agreat option. The rest of our house is forced air, but it will be difficult to get a duct through the foundation wall to the new space, so we’d like to find a radiant heating system that would work well under cork flooring. The room will only be 12×13. Any recommendations?

Since you have no boiler and it is such a small space, this might be a good application for using a hot water heater as the heat source.
You may even be able to use an existing HWH with a plate heat exchanger for the space heating zone.
