Radon Mitigation vs. Increased Basement Leak Potential?

Bank-mandated mitigation system installed by their choice of certified contractor last fall as pre-condition prior to closing.
System generates moderate negative pressure in perimeter footing drain tile, which otherwise drains into sump well. System included sealing sump well off from basement.
After the big melt-off began I noted seepage / leakage where prior owner had attempted to patch cracks in foundation wall. Whether he’d felt successful in his efforts is moot as water still finds its way into the basement. Not a lot, but 3+ inches of rain this past weekend & sump pump’s been running, a few new spots are showing seepage.
SO: is the mitigation system’s 24/7/365 negative pressure increasing the potential for leaks?
I haven’t had to deal with a basement since leaving home for school in 1968. That one was never a problem while I acknowledge every one is unique, like each of us.

The negative pressure would very slightly increase the flow into the drain tile. Would not affect seepage into the basement proper -- if anything it would decrease it by a miniscule amount.
Thanks
Dan, that helps me understand what's going on.
