Have an existing concrete patio {8×12} 14” below sliding door. One step down. Want to do a patio extension and not remove the existing slab.
so, the question. If I pour a concrete retaining wall 14” high around the existing patio, the fill with base, the pour new slab….will I have drainage issues due to the existing slab being imperious to water. Should I put weep holes in the new retaining wall..?
thanks
