Greetings,
I am relocating to the Raleigh/Chapel Hill area in the very near future. I am a carpenter/builder seeking full time, permanent employment.
For the past five years I’ve been working with a GC in New York City doing high end residential renovation.
I am skilled in all facets of renovation: Demolition, masonry, layout, framing, electrical, plumbing, insulation, sheet rock, painting, cabinetry, masonry, tiling, trim/finish work, etc.
NYC is not a hot bed for new home construction. One must work within the ‘existing conditions.’ I have experience in new home building, but it is not my expertise.
My ability to communicate and solve problems allows me to manage crews and sub-contractors. I am responsible and hard working, thus gaining trust with clients.
Working in high end construction, one must have an eye for details. One must be clean and efficient. Most importantly, one must have integrity in one’s work. All these I have.
A resume and references are available upon your request.
Sincerely,
Nathan Galie

Hi zumzum
just out of curiosity who did you work for in NYC?
sincerely
Mark
I worked for Korect Konstruction, based out of the East Village.
Who do you work for?
Hi ZumZum
I worked for Diversified Plaster. Mostly ornamental plaster and framing, did alot of work for I.Grace and A.E. Grayson. and Xhema. 95% of our work was done on pre-war buildings. I thought that we might know somebody in common. All of our work was either Park ave and 5th ave. Also everything midtown and up, was real interesting work, but now I am trimming in the Poconos, couldn't stand the commute anymore.
Mark
p.s. lots of luck and success in your new venture
