I have some Dewalt 12 Volt batteries that are about shot and would like to see about getting them rebuilt. Had a couple of web sites for battery rebuilders but lost them. Office looks worse than my shop. HELP!

There have been several threads about this recently. Try the advanced search and see what ya come up with.......

I was high-behind on getting my two 9.6'ers rebuilt a while back. I did a search on Yahoo and found a company that sold me two generic nickle metal hydride direct replacements for $32.00. Also in my quest I found that only the batteries assembled with screws could be rebuilt. Some are glued together, and can't be made new again. Mine were screwed, but for the small price difference, I went for the new units for only sligtly more money. Someone also posted a site a while back that sold the individual cells, and if you can solder, you can make them new yourself. I can't remember how much, but that was the cheepest route, and worth a look, but who has time for that?
Cheers.
I bought 2 18V DeWalt batteries on Ebay for less than half the price at HD.
