   In the first picture why the siding finished before the soffit and fascia?

   The siding is finished before because there is that yellow breather matrix.. like cedar breather but different (benjamin obydyke...)behind the maibec so air can travel all the way from the ground to the roof to allow drying. the aluminum channel is just nailed to the siding.Just Regular Cedar! haha
