I’m in need of a new rechargeable flashlight for home use. I have a few mag lights and a Makita rechargeable worklight. The Makita is the tall “floodlight” stick. I need something with a more focused beam.
The Stanley tripod lights are nice but they don’t come as rechargeables. I don’t want to deal with seperate rechargeable batts.
Ideally, the features would be:
1. rechargeable
2. plug in wall charger
3. LED
4. ability to be stood up and directed hands free (like the Stanley tripod flashlight.)
I’ve done searches on Amazon and via google but either they weren’t LED or they weren’t rechargeable.

skip the all in one unit and just buy a charger and some rechargable batteries ..
I don't remember the brand name, but I purchased an LED rechargable light at Lowe's. I is one of the wind up kind. It takes about thirty second to a minute of winding to charge the batteries and you're good to go. I've had it for about five years and am alway grateful for it whenever the power goes out.
I also have one of the task force led lights. I think it has 70 lumens or something like that. I can signal the space station with it. The batteries last for a very long time. I think I've changed them once in three or four years.
hope this helps

I too have the Taskforce LED flashlight. Use it several times each day. It uses two C batteries and I change them about once every 3 months. And as the previous guy said the beam on it is incredible. Paid $40 for it at Lowes. Best flashlight Ive ever had....
