I woke up last night thinking about a cutting problem, and invented this very thing in my head, only to Google and find that someone already makes it. Has anyone tried this accessory?

the Milwaukee version...
slick little item...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
WOW!!! What a Ride!
Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
It is a Paws Off Tool and it fits all of the quick change chucks.
You also can reverse it to make right or left hand cuts or flip the blade to cut up or down.
Sorry Csnow, I drew pictures of the offset blade at least 25 years ago myself!
I also sent out blades and had them cut and welded in reverse.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!
Warning! Be cautious when taking any framing advice from me. There are some in here who think I'm a hackmeister...they might be right! Of course, they might be wrong too!
No patent for me! Try again...
Haven't tried it yet, but it looks so useful I just ordered a bunch of their stuff.

Yes, I have one and it works great, although I haven't been able to completely reverse it for some cuts. It has a nub that won't allow it to be configured in some ways. I may be doing something wrong, but I have yet to contact the mfr. I bought mine from Mc Feelys Square Drive Fasteners, they just havppen to be a local company (Lynchburg, VA) www.mcfeelys.com It is a well made tool; I recommend it.
Welcome to BT neighbor.
I live about 90 miles south west of ya. Go past Lynchburg on my way to Richmond to work on the house that we have there.
VATom lives just north of you before you get to Charlottesville. A couple of guys in Fredericksburg and at least one up around the VA area of DC.
I have learned a lot and have laughed a lot here in BT and I hope that you will as well.
DaneI will always be a beginner as I am always learning.
