Hey guys, a lot of you here know me. I had some foot surgery recently and I can no longer wear these boots. These boots are in great shape, I bought them after a major foot surgery and found I simply can’t wear them, they have been worn only for a month or so and I bought two pair so I could alternate them day by day.
These are the 8″ tops, model 608, size 10 B. Here’s a link to the Redwing description, http://www.redwingshoe.com/productdetails.aspx?prodid=1029
I paid about $185 per pair. They are still in really great shape and have years left, heck, the soles are just barely dirtied.
Make me an offer, or send an email if you want more pics or information.

I was just editing my post to include that, they are 10 B.Lee
from the website link, it doesn't say if these are waterproof or insulated?Redwings are a great boot. I get an average three years from them.Back when I was roofing and averaged six months, the Redwings gave me a year and resoles would give another six months or so.

I think I'm a ten E. Is B wider or narrower?

I'm pretty much retired from making furniture. Writing is keeping me occupied and getting ready for our big move.Back to the boots; These are neither waterproofed or insulated. These are the second set I've owned, I got quite a few years from the first pairs so I got another set post op. I'm in sneakers now, my leg comes off my foot at a different angle since last year's surgery so the ankle support that used to be great turned into more pain.Dam feet.Lee
You writing for trade journals to share your knowledge or writing barefoot romances to share your fantasies?

Barefoot romances at the moment, two different ones.Trade journal stuff has been a bit hard to take for me, it's tough coming to terms with this infirmity and changing directions.Lee
I know. It is depressing dealing with changes in body and function

Hey Piff, I just looked at your profile. Are you really on an island in Maine? Ruthie and I used to spend time at her family's cottage on Cousin's Island. Back then it was a summer home and it was passed around for a nominal fee to all family members. Lobster men used to park at the end of the driveway to go fishing and we'd place our order for dinner. Gawd that was a good time, do you know the area?Lee
sorry, Lee... size 11 hereMike Smith Rhode Island : Design / Build / Repair / Restore
Thanks Mike,Lee
I don't know where Cousin's island is.
'course we have about 3500 islands in Maine...I am on Islesboro, off the coast from Lincolnville and Camden. It is in Penobscot Bay, a largish indent showing on the maps about halfway up the coast, south of Bangor, which is on the Penobscot River.

you can tell its a big place when the only road is called "Main Road" and it makes a circle. "Sir, how do I get there?"
Go down Main road
"which way"
doesnt matter, you get there.
Kind of like here - the name of the town and the name of the island ios the same. There is no distinction and the boundary lines are obvious. but every summer some tourist gets to the island and asks how to get to Islesboro."you are here""I know I am here, but I want to get there""Where?""Islesboro""That's where you are""I am? - But where is downtown? How do i get there?""There isn't one"

Cousin's Island is just north of Portland.Maine's a great place..., too bad the sea is too cold to swim in there. Well, for sane people anyway.Lee
Yeow! You, Piffin, have fat feet, hah, hah, ha..,B's are narrower than E's
I guess I'll have to pass then. I used to have smaler feet, but time and loads have spread them out. There was a time too when I would wear almost anything, but foot comfort and back pain are big part of my life now. The trip to the redwing shoe store every 2-3 years is nearly a religious pilgrimage!
I also used to wear them pretty snug when I was roofing so they didn't slide inside the boot.Good luck though on the sale! REdwindgs are worth every penny.

You'd have to lop off 2 toes. Maybe just the big one and the ball.PAHS Designer/Builder- Bury it!
OK, How much? I wear 10B and the boots will probably last longer than I will. Location, Earth, covers a lot of area. Where are you?
I'm in Montana. How about a hundred and fifty bucks for the two pair, I'll pay shipping.Lee
I have a pair just like them and they are great boots. Unfortunately, I wear a 16EEE.
16EEEE, wow. Well, you know what they say about shoe size...,Lee
Ya, I've heard it before. Same about nose size. Myths, nothing but myths!
Sasquatch is supposedly the Native American name for Bigfoot. Go figure!
Edit: Spelled Bigfoot wrong.
