Refinishing material for concrete patio?
Greetings, folks –
Got a small house to fix up and resell, and it has a badly spalled patio slab. Anyone have favorite materials to trowel on for a smooth surface that will last for a bit? This doesn’t have to be a lifetime finish; project doesn’t warrant that much $$$. Anything other than bag mix patching material?
Thanks in advance!

Check out their cementatious toppings.
Looks like a good product, but there are areas where I will have to build up at least 3/4" . I think I need to look at other options ..Bruce

They have stuff that will handle that - and more.
It's available at White Cap and other places.
I'm not doubting it'll do the job; I'm just thinking it'll do the job better than necessary, at more $$$ than I want to put into it. Maybe I have to think again about latex modified mortar ...Bruce

The surface of my concrete drive way is pitting. I think the concrete driver re hydrated the mix on the way to my house. Will this product put a new surface on an old driveway????? and which one. The web site had alot of products
thanks
If the underlying substrate was solid, I would think so.
Best bet is to call their customer service people.
I've done stuff thats lasted over 10yrs so far... like this...
clean & chip all loose stuff away... a very good pressure washer will work might have to hammer chip some...
brush /spray on a bonding agent... then top with 1.5" to 2" of new concrete add fiber if you want... pea gravel... and at least a 6 sack mix keep it damp for days...
maybe score & stain it for looks ... costs so little....
not much you can do cheaper than 80.00 for 120-150sf of coverage

Now that's my kind of cost; thanks for the info. I probably have 200 sq. ft. to do, and this sounds like it should do the job.Bruce
