Hello,
I work in a factory that manufactures dining room tables. We have some models of tables with profiled moldings. When there are defects on these tables, we sand the mouldings with a block and 120 sandpaper so as not to leave any marks. It takes us 1 hour to sand the entire contour of these tables without leaving marks to remove the paint before applying it afterwards. I was wondering if there were any tools to reduce the time it takes to sand the edges of these tables. I was thinking of a router of some sort that would be the same shape as the molding to sand faster. Using a scraper would damage the contour and leave marks that we would have to repair again. If you have any ideas, don’t hesitate.
Thanks to you

you need a linear action sander and a custom sanding block.
I found the Festool linear sander was discontinued. Interesting tool, wonder if anyone else has one……
