I’ve been reading many articles/books on making houses more energy efficient and the recurring theme seems to be sealing up air leaks, especially in the attic. My house is full of many “opportunities”, with can lights, unsealed soffits, etc. My challenge is that the attic already has several inches of blown-in cellulose. Any tips on how to move that out of the way temporarily, even to the other side of the attic, and then redistribute once I am done? Its hands and knees up there, and figuring out an easy way to temporarily move it would be greatly appreciated.

For small amounts I find a child's snow shovel to be the perfect tool. For larger amounts some people have used leaf-blower style vacuums, rigged with a hose to a larger bag.
