I had a handyman adhere house numbers to my James Hardie siding with an epoxy. He did not install them correctly and I need to have them removed from the house. Is there a way to remove these numbers without damaging the siding and its paint? It was glued on via the JB weld quick setting epoxy. Thx!!

A sharp smack parallel to the painted surface might work.
Will depend on the paint, and how well your handyman prepared the surface, and mixed the adhesive.
If not, you might need to repair and repaint the surface.
I assume it’s the wrong order of numbers?
Semi handy.

I’d probably tell you that even if I could get the numbers off, the paint would come with it.
I’d advise applying your new numbers to a plaque and install that over the ooops.
I’d use a Multimaster with a scraper blade to remove the numbers.
Heat gun or maybe hot iron. Epoxy falls apart with heat.
Try a heat gun on the letters. That should loosen the hold of the epoxy. You will probably have to repaint the area, since the heat gun will also loosen the hold of the paint on the siding.
