My stucco subcontractor did not mask or tape off the windows. He simply wiped the splatter off with a wet rag. Now there is a film of stucco on the glass that is difficult to remove. What is the best cleaner to use to get it off without damaging the glass?

Dave,
I know that this shutting the gate after the horse has bolted but in future get the contractor to mask up the joinery and spray a little diesel or WD40 on the glass first. You could try back charging your contractor?

*Dave:In the auto painting industry we take a single edge razor blade to anything that gets on glass. Use a little glass cleaner as a lubricant if you like. Check the blade edge often to make sure it doesn't develop a nick that will scratch the glass.Frank
