Removing White Glue from Paneling
Wife bought a buffet, and the panel back was wallpapered — apparently they used white glue to attach the wallpaper. Is there anything readily available that will dissolve it? She’s gotten the paper off already. I offered to scrape it off, but she doesn’t want the wood “gouged up” as she puts it. Basically she wants me to stay away from it — just looking for something to help her out a bit.

I thought vinager would loosen yellow and white glue.

Try water. I know that when as a kid I tried to use white Elmers glue on a boat, the glue softened and turned white again when it got wet.
