Working on a deck we poured footings with pedestals. Mounting the metal columns on them, the corner of one of the pedestals cracked when we drove in the Simpson Titen HD anchors. I’ll attach pictures.
The cracks appear to be about 3″ deep, which would give me another 2″ if I correct the hole and re-drive. But I’m not realy happy with that solution.
I’m thinking, instead about drilling deeper and setting all-thread with Simpson XP-AT, removing the fractured concrete and re-pouring to grout from the solid concrete below to the plate.
Any thoughts or recommendations on that one?

I would tear it out and do it over.
With a larger base so not so close to edge when drilling
