Replace Wood Window Casing Without Breaking Stucco
I just had my wood window sashes replaced with wood replicas. I noticed some areas of rot in the arched window casing and thought I’d replace it. Can this be done properly without breaking stucco? The stucco comes right up to it today.

If the affected area is small, I would suggest using Abatron. Tear out most of rot; use liquid two part epoxy to consolidate area; and then use two part solid putty to fill. Overfill slightly and sand the result to match profile. If you do chip some stucco use stucco patch to fill in.
